Transart attended as a partner in the International “Meat & Milk 2014” Conference in Sibiu, the most important specialized event which brought together over 320 representatives of the meat and milk sectors in Romania: farmers, processors, decision makers in the banking system, service providers, guests from abroad and senior representatives of the authorities.

The discussion topics of the conference focused primarily on the sources of growth, optimization and control, and on the specific technologies in the field by animal farms, farming, processing, nutrition, law, finance, etc.

On this occasion, at the workshop on meat, Mr. Andrei PinteTransart Account Manager – delivered a presentation entitled “Cost Control from Order to Delivery Using an Appropriate Computer System.” Mr. Pinte presented to the audience the latest global trends in software technologies for business, pointing out the Transart software range that offers concrete solutions that can be easily adapted to the specific needs of the meat industry.

Automation and technology-based solutions penetrate more and more the meat and milk sectors in Romania, and the offer for supply management systems proposing solutions to the meat industry appears to be segregated into two categories. The first is that of specialized, imported systems, which provide equipment and the related control software for a rather high price … and that second category is that of the local business solutions, general purpose business applications with modules and components that can be tailored to the specific needs of the industry. Falling into the second category, Transart’s offer provides basic coverage of the needs with practical solutions, at significantly lower costs.

 Specifically, Transart’s offer includes fully integrated applications for the following categories:

  • ERP – management, production, billing, accounting, payroll systems;
  • SFA – automation of the field activities of the sales force, delivery, market information gathering,
  • WMS – warehouse, inventory, picking, preparation of goods and documents for delivery, and
  • Business Intelligence – key performance indicators (KPI dashboards) monitoring, analysis and decision support.

The range of applications offered by Transart functionally covers the following operational needs out of the ones identified primarily at the level of the small/medium-sized players in the industry:

  • real-time production and production cost control;
