Transart, one of the most important business software developers from Romania, which has its headquarters in Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca, and subsidiaries in Bucharest, Iasi and Timisoara, had an annual turnover of 3.1 million euros in 2016, which represents an increase of over 12% compared to the precedent year.

In 2016, 135 new clients joined our portofolio, most of them being importers, retailers and distributors from the following industries: FMCG, DYI & building materials, IT, domestic/home appliances etc., but also local producers of meat, dairy, bakery, animal food or wine. Some examples are: Nasticom Impex, Dersidan, Monplast Trans, Neologis Medical, Intend Computer, Di & Si Panif, Helvetica Distribution, A&A Eco, Lubricant Ro Oil, Sudometal, Rikko Steel, BCVO Logistics, Bottari Italo Romena, e-Piesa.ro, DHS Baby, Crama Trantu, Bodega Pietroasa (Domeniile Zorești), Charme Cosmetics, M&L Comimpex Const, Milenium Food, Altamira Industry, BM Petfood Group, Agora-Electronik, Alcromal Service, Plus Cafe, Enetha, Kiss Naht or Elmar Dino Impex.

The ERP division was the star of 2016 on the Romanian market, with a consistent increase in the number of new customers and a wide range of upgrades and expansions for existing clients. We are talking here especially about the increased adoption rate of modules and extensions such as: Cost Center, Notifications, Retail, BI Adviser (QlikView), Warehouse Manager (WMS) and on the other hand about a mature interfacing component/EDI, about the completion of several successful projects with partners within the e-Shop/e-Commerce area or TMS – route optimization for agents. In other words, the stability and robustness of the ERP core adds better value in the context of complete systems, natively integrated, which respond to variate business needs.

A special place in 2016 was reserved for our flagship product, HERMES SFA, which continues its international expansion with 3 new implementation in Moldova, Slovakia and in the United Arab Emirates with the In-Store / Retail Execution component. Leader of the Romanian market for Sales Force Automation, HERMES SFA is in the present the reference application for distribution companies working with field agents (pre-sales/van-sales) in Romania, companies which frequently use an integrated ERP + SFA + BI, delivered entirely by Transart.

From another perspective, 2016 was the year of a new start in the business intelligence projects implemented by Transart. Important clients with a long history of partnership with Transart led us to assimilate the latest BI technologies – Qlik, Tableau and Microsoft – and complete major new projects.

In 2017 we will continue to invest both in the development and optimization of our products and promote digitalization and Business Intelligence solutions among Romanian and international companies to help them grow and become more productive and adapted to market conditions.

We are optimistic and we intend to make a difference in the business software producers landscape from Romania through special products and services characterized by: stability, reliability, robustness, efficiency and adaptation.
